Appearance:
Alex has dark brown hair that has gained some length since the apocalypse. When he can get the luxury to shave he usually takes it as fast as he can, Alex hates having too much facial hair and can be found using a knife if he becomes desperate enough to shave. He has a nice body structure and he isn't afraid to show it off, in fact, before the apocalypse began, he was quite the playboy.
As for his clothing, he's like any other. He washes what he has himself and it's usually the same dirty T-Shirts, beat up Converse and ripped jeans.
Personality:
Those who knew Alex when he first joined the Water Department group know that he wasn't always like this, so cold and secluded. He used to be sociable and people even saw him smile once in awhile. But after the attack, after they took his Alice, he was never the same again.
Alexander is a part of the Water Department group although he doesn't seem like it. When he hunts, it's often for himself and if he is forced to hunt for the group, he tosses his kill their way and acts as though he's invisible. He's cold and cruel to the rest of the group and he's positive some are asking the leader for him to be kicked out. He won't take orders unless they're on his terms and he certainly won't bow down to those who think they're better than him.

History:
Before the infestation broke out, Alex lived in an apartment with his fiancée, Alice. They were happily together and they had been for two years. Of course, everyone once had a happy story before the infection happened. Alex's happy ending ended far too soon, however.
Constantly on the run from the undead, Alice begged him to join the safety of a group the next time they came across one. There was protection in numbers and they had found out only days before the infection that Alice was pregnant. Alex needed to take charge in order to protect his family, so her wishes were met. When they came across the Water Department group, they were welcomed with open arms once their trial was over and they were trusted.
Alex became a raider and he would bring supplies back to the camp. He was handy with a gun and a knife, he was an asset to the group then. One day, he had been out on a run with a few other guys to grab dinner for that night. When they returned horror was everywhere they looked. Left and right people of their group were dying, those infected were killed or they killed themselves. Alex was frantic as he looked for Alice, he screamed for her as he killed the undead.
Alex would find her later that night once the threat was gone. She was covered in her own blood and he knew that he was losing her. She had been bit. She was dying. His Alice was dying. He held her in his arms as she took her last breath and he continued to hold her, willing for her to be reanimated and perhaps kill him as well. He didn't want to live without her. She came back and Alex wouldn't let go. She tried to bite him and he just continued to whisper sweet nothing's to her, tell her how beautiful she was, how much he loved her.
Then a shot rang through the air and Alice was dead once again. Alex had looked up to find Avery, another member of the group, with a gun in her hand. A sense of hatred had filled Alex and from that day forth, he became a new man. A man that Alice would have been ashamed to see.
