Woodbury was decorated for the holidays, Andrea was surprised at the decorations. She had thought that Christmas would be the last thought on any one's mind, but then again it seemed that there was a lot more to celebrate in Woodbury. A party was being thrown that night(creating an expecting to the curfew rule) to celebrate the holiday, the children were playing with each other in their nice clothes and the adults were chatting with one another, drinking from the plastic cups filled with various beverages and alcohols.
Andrea had slipped on an outfit that Phillip had given her awhile ago. It was a lacy, red dress and a pair of black heels. A red scarf wrapped around her arms kept the bite of the wind off of her arms. She walked through the street, admiring how dressed up everyone was. Something was off though, something just didn't feel right to Andrea.
This was going to be one of the first Christmas' without Amy. The thought made her melancholy and her heart ache. Instead of mingling with the crowd, she stood away from everyone, her eyes glued up to the stars at the moon. It was still difficult to live without her sister, she could only imagine how everyone else felt around this time of year. At least Rick, Glenn, Lorie, Daryl and the rest of the group would all have each other on Christmas, it made it just a bit easier to bear.
A sigh left her lips and she began to hope that there was another place waiting for you when you died. This would mean Amy was happy, that she was going to enjoy one of her first Christmas' away from Andrea. The corner of her pink lips drew up and she felt tears well inside of her eyes. She quickly shook her head and blinked back the water, she refused to let herself cry, there had been plenty of time for that.
The sound of footsteps approaching her made her tense, she still wasn't used to not being on guard. A body was standing next to her and she continued to stand in silence, watching the stars. "The party get too dull?" She asked aloud.
